OUR STORY

One evening about 4 years ago, as I was working on a jigsaw puzzle with my grandson Titus, I had a revelatory thought, a Eureka moment!

As we searched through hundreds of scattered puzzle pieces looking for that one piece we just had to have, it occurred to me how piecing a jigsaw puzzle together is very similar to studying bible scriptures. The Bible consists of 66 books; those 66 books were written by over 40 authors, over a period of approximately 1500 years. So, bringing those books together in a contextual and cohesive fashion is likened to piecing a jigsaw puzzle together. Scripture by scripture, and piece by piece. The more you study, the clearer the stories become. Likewise with a jigsaw puzzle; as each piece is found and clicked into its proper place, the overall picture becomes clearer and clearer.

Thus, the vision of Joyful Jigsaw was born! It has taken almost a year to get to this point, but here we are. We have many Puzzles coming, more Series, and more amazing Bible Stories, all in Jigsaw Puzzle form!

Our hope is, whether you're enjoying an evening of Puzzling by yourself, or with family and friends, you will be nudged to open your bible, read the stories, and gain a greater understanding of who God is, what His goal for all human history is, and His purpose for your life!

DAYS OF NOAH - PART 1

Based on:
Genesis Chapter 6:1-13
Approximately 1656 years had passed since the Creation. It was now a time of unapparelled violence, sin and evil. There were giants in the land at that time also. God was so grieved in His heart that He was sorry He had made man.

DAYS OF NOAH - PART 2

Based on:
Genesis Chapter 6:13-22
Noah and his sons are hard at work, finishing the Ark. The wives are diligently working in the gardens, gathering fruits, vegetables, and supplies. The animals are coming, and the men will soon begin to load them onto the Ark, two by two. Time is short, and as God told Noah approximately a 100 years earlier; a flood is coming!

DAYS OF NOAH - PART 3

Based on:
Genesis Chapter 7:1-24
The flood has begun! The fountains of the great deep have burst open, and the floodgates of the sky are opened!
Noah, his family, and all the animals God had commanded them to take into the Ark with them, are safely on board now....and the Lord God Himself closed the door behind them!

DAYS OF NOAH - PART 4

Based on:
Chapter 8:1-22 and
Chapter 9:1-17
God remembered Noah, his family, and all the livestock on the Ark. So, He caused the fountains of the deep and floodgates of the sky to close.
Finally, the Ark came to rest on the mountains of Ararat, which are located in the Eastern Anatolia Region of Turkey.
Noah sent out a Raven, and then later, he sent a Dove several different times, until the Dove did not return. Noah knew then that it was safe to go out of the Ark.
In total, Noah, his family, and all the livestock were on the Ark for 371 days!
The animals were set free! Noah built an Alter to the Lord, took some of every kind of clean animal, and offered burnt offerings on the Alter. The Lord smelled the soothing aroma.
I shall never again eliminate the people by waters of a flood, or by a flood to destroy the Earth.
Then God placed a Rainbow in the clouds as a sign of His Covenant.

All of our puzzles will now come in 2 formats: 1000 piece, and 300 piece.

As a result of so many requests to add a smaller puzzle format to our lineup, we have added a 300-piece format! Kids ages 8 and up will now be able to enjoy our puzzles as well!
